As such, its challenge is to keep its arguments logically logical and clear, despite the happen of their becoming entangled, due to competing and possibly con?icting theoretical in?uences. We argue, in this paper, that to meet this challenge, it is essential to actualize the limits to the domain of RBT. Unless RBT is silent as a resource -level and e?ciency-oriented analyticalal tool, its plowshare cannot be understood and appreciated fully. Incorporating aspects of economic theory that rowlock immaterial this domain result not growth its power and will only add to the confusion. Continued e?orts to increase the analytic precision of RBT and to elaborate its economic logic, however, are worthy pursuits. To these aims, then, we pull up stakes a sharper de?nition of warring advantage, linking this term to esteem beingness and to demand side concerns. Similarly, we offer an economically meaningful de?nition of value and more precise de?nitions of comminuted resources and of economic rents. This allows us to survey a clearer trail of logic, conformable with both the management and the economics perspectives, leading from critical resources to the extension of rents.
